4. Other disclosures
In addition to the disclosures reasonably necessary for the purposes identified elsewhere in this privacy policy, we may disclose information about you:
(a) to the extent that we are required to do so by law;
(b) in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings;

Data security – GDPR
Under the requirements of the 2018 GDPR Regulations, “Moore Yachts Limited” has provided the following statement:
Moore Yachts Limited will only ask for information necessary to process the details of vessels for sale including title documentation, and for sellers and buyers, including ‘due diligence’ – that is confirmation of the credentials of the client. These checks are to protect all parties including for money laundering regulation.
We will require your bank details in order to make and receive payments. This information will be held securely. We will ask you for this at the start of the process – if any change is made during the progress of the sale we will call to verify the change to ensure the information is correct.
All information is collated on a secure database which is backed-up on a daily basis, and which is stored in the cloud. The server is protected by a firewall and other security software, which is up-dated as necessary.
The privacy of your data is important to us – we will never provide any of our mailing lists or other data to a third party for the purposes of marketing. The only data which is publicly available is the information on the vessels for sale in order for us to facilitate a sale.
Paper files containing client and vessel details are kept in filing cabinets and if the office is unattended it will be locked.
Our newsletter and mailings provide an unsubscribe option each time. We will endeavour only to send out relevant information which may be of benefit or interest to our clients.
